In accordance with the 2021 bilateral military cooperation program between the Republic of North Macedonia and The Hellenic Republic, part of the Special Forces Battalion personnel had basic and advanced diving training at the Hellenic Republic Armed Forces Training center in Nea Peramos, from 30.08 to 08.09.2021.
During the training, the members of the Special Forces battalion had an opportunity to improve their diving skills and were trained by the Hellenic Special Warfare Command instructors on skills that include special operations in bigger water bodies.
The mutual training, which was performed by members of the Special Forces battalion, increases the interoperability domain of the Army Special Forces with NATO standards.
