Joint training with the US Special Forces as part of the JCET program, starting on 21 August and ending on 1 September this year, was conducted at the Ilinden barracks, at the Stenkovec shooting range, and at the Krivolak Training Area. The joint training further developed the defence capabilities of the joint formations.
With the participation and training of the joint formations, the progress of defense capabilities is achieved.
During the training at the Ilinden barracks, the members of the Special Forces were visited by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, together with the Minister of Defence Slavjanka Petrovska and the US Ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia, Angela Aggeler.
The joint exercise that is conducted regularly every year within the cooperation program increases the interoperability, operational capability and readiness of the Special Forces.
