Members of the special operations regiment in the period from 09 until 25.09.2014, on the ranges for alpine training near Demir Kapija- realized topics on summer climbing and mountaineering.
During the training, unit focused on practicing the tactics and techniques for search and rescue in demanding mountainous terrain.
This year, summer climbing and mountaineering was done in cooperation with the instructor team from Switzerland. The training was attended by members from other state institutions in the Republic of Macedonia who need this type of training such as the Ministry of Interior and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.
Participants had the unique opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of mountaineering and climbing as well as to promote cooperation. The visitors were satisfied with the organization of activities, but also with the high level of training, expertise, willingness and physical readiness which was demonstrated by the members of the Regiment.
