During the six-month briefing, the chiefs of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) subordinate units briefed the TRADOC Commander, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev on their views on the personnel management, training and exercises, logistics, working and living conditions, communications and budget.
With a demonstration exercise they presented certain suggestions for improving the practice shooting (PS) number 2 which are a result of the lessons learned and the analyses of the practice shooting.
On the shooting range the attendants had the opportunity to see the methodical demonstration exercise “Performing PS-2 with automatic rifle 7, 62 mm M 70” which was presented in two parts. The first part was in accordance with the already existing rules, while the second part was in accordance with the new suggestions in order to achieve a better performance in the work with the professional soldiers.
The goal of this presentation is to make some changes to certain procedures during PS which should be used in a real situation and to implement them during the practice of the professional soldiers in order to achieve a faster reaction and better results.
