On the 21st and 22nd of September, a delegation of the United Kingdom Armed Forces represented by Lieutenant Colonel Richard Perry, the UK defense attaché, and Lieutenant Colonel Graham Shannon, Commanding Officer of the First Royal Irish Regiment visited the Training and Doctrine Command in Veles and the Training Support Centre at the Training Area Krivolak.
The purpose of the visit is to familiarize the delegation with the capabilities and capacities of the Training and Doctrine Command, in order to identify and locate the areas and activities for future cooperation between the Macedonian Army and the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, as well as to exchange experiences and lessons learned from previous work, to strengthen the capacities, opportunities and capabilities of both armies.
During the visit, TDC and the Training Support Centre mission and organizational and formational structure were presented, after which the delegation had the opportunity to visit and observe the capacities and capabilities of the Training Support Center at the TA “Krivolak” getting familiarized with the available structure for training support.
As a result of the visit, certain specific areas of possible future cooperation have been identified, after which the guests expressed immense satisfaction with their reception at the Training and Doctrine Command and with the conditions provided for the smooth implementation of the activity.
