On January 12, 2026, a Change of Command Ceremony was held at the Canine Training Center in the barracks “Gjorche Petrov” in Skopje. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini, as well as the commanders and chiefs of the subordinate commands and units of TRADOC.
During the ceremony, the Commander of TRADOC, Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini, held a speech in which he expressed sincere congratulations to the new Commander and wished him success in his work, emphasizing that this position is responsible for the overall functioning, organization and leadership of the Center. Within its competencies, the Center cooperates with other organizational units and institutions. It plans, coordinates and supervises the implementation of processes for the selection, training and handling of service dogs, as well as the professional development of the personnel and the dog guides.
The outgoing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Nikolovski, who retired from service, expressed his deep gratitude for the cooperation with the members of the Canine Training Center and TRADOC and expressed warm congratulations to the incoming Commander, Major Nadi Bajrami, who officially took over the responsibility for the functioning of the Canine Training Center as of today. He noted that, knowing him as a long-time colleague, he is convinced that in the role of a Commander he will perform his duties in the best possible manner.
The incoming Commander, Major Nadi Bajrami, expressed his gratitude for the trust that was given to him and assured everybody that through dedication and hard work, the objectives of the Canine Training Center will be achieved. He also expressed his wishes for continued cooperation with everybody present.
