The Basic Course for Non-Commissioned Officers has started at the Training and Doctrine Command in Krivolak TA. The course is attended by 63 trainees – professional soldiers from the Army units.
The Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev, attended the official start of the course in the Krivolak TA, where all the protocols for protection against the pandemic and the spread of the COVID-19 virus were observed. In his speech, General Hadzi Janev advised all the course participants to be thoroughly engaged in the training process so that when they complete the course they will have acquired knowledge and skills necessary for assuming new responsibilities in their new positions in the Army units.
As part of the process of continuous education and implementation of the program for professional development of professional soldiers, this course, after a long period of ten years, has become active again, i.e. new experienced senior non-commissioned officers will be produced again.
This basic non-commissioned officer course is designed and developed according to established standards for staff training of this type of NATO member countries. The concept for professional development of non-commissioned officers in the Army defines them as newly trained non-commissioned officers, as well as, competent instructors with developed leadership skills, trained to successfully lead their subordinates in carrying out their mission.
