The Training and Doctrine Command personnel and subordinate units, carried out a fitness-recreational march in the area of Star Dojran, while also conducting two additional activities, at two different work points.
During the activities on one of the work points of the march, members of TRADOC had the opportunity to learn about the more important features and aspects of Macedonian literary creation and apostle of education, during the life and work of Partenie Zografski, in the 19th century.
At the second work point, the personnel were familiarized with the terrain geographical and topographic features by members of the Training and Doctrine Command. Additionally, a historical lesson was organized, focusing on the specific deployment features of the southern front during the First World War in the area known as Kopsan. This included a presentation of the entire organization of the southern front, the three offensives of the First World War, particularly the battles of the Dojran Front, the organization of forces, command posts, supply, and the consequences for the local population. The ultimate goal of this work point was to conduct an analysis of the application of battlefield functions during the First World War through a historical overview.
