On 03.04.2014, at the barracks „Alekso Demnievski-Bauman“ in Veles, the Training and Doctrine Commander, Lieutenant Ljupcho Kostovski was briefed about the training activities (QTB) and TDC Combat Readiness Support to ARM for this year’s first quarter. The briefing was conducted in presence of the Command Staff, Commanders of all subordinate units and the Chief of the Centre for Foreign Languages.
The Commanders of the subordinate units and the Chief of the CFL reported about the current situation in their units, putting an emphasis on supplies and equipment maintenance and priorities for the next quarter.
As a part of the QTB, there was also a practical demonstration of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES).
The Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System uses lasers to simulate fire from a small calibre weapon at the training area. It gives the operator a real life battle effect. The system provides information about the effectiveness of the user’s location, the skills and use of cover during training.
