Today, 30th December, 2015, at the Individual Training Center, the Company Sergeant Major Course ended. This course is part of the annual training program of the Training and Doctrine Command for 2015 and it was successfully completed by 15 (fifteen) NCOs of the ARM, that include one female.
The goal of this course is for the attendees to become familiarized with the duties and responsibilities of the Company Sergeant Major. During the process of the training on the course, the attendee NCOs gained knowledge in realization and monitoring of the individual training of the unit and development of the training program, carrying out personnel management and administration in the unit, development of the program for improvement of leadership, introduction to the concept for professional development of NCOs in ARM, motivation of subordinates, handling stress and stressful situations, discipline and morale of the unit, regulation of the administrative, personnel and other issues related to soldiers and NCOs.
During the training the NCOs also gained knowledge in the area of international humanitarian law and law of armed conflict, NATO structure, NATO graphs and symbols and peacekeeping operations.
The NCOs received certificates for a successfully completed training at the course that will enable them to be appointed as Company Sergeant Major.
