The 22nd generation of soldiers doing voluntary military service at the Individual Training Centre (ITC) has completed its training.
204 soldiers, 14 of which are females, in the previous 3 months have achieved the expected results. Apart from completing basic training, the soldiers were involved in securing of the military facilities in all military barracks of the ARM, where they succesfully carried out the unique combat task in peace time.
On the occasion of completing the training, major Oliver Veleski, representative of the commander of ITC, addressed the soldiers in formation.
During their last week of training, the soldiers were assessed on the lessons learned through practical tests and checking their physical readiness. In the end the soldiers were given the opportunity to shortly experience the field training conditions – camping. One night spent in tents made by the soldiers themselves was another new experience.
The process of training does not finish by completing the basic military training at ITC , because here only the fundamentals are introduced. All soldiers, having completed basic military training, are able to apply for the position of a professional soldier in the ARM, where some of them are going to continue with further engagement in completing given tasks in the ARM.
In a few days the soldiers are going to leave the military barracks in Veles and return to their hometowns taking with them another lifetime experience.
