At today’s annual meeting at ARM General Staff the chief NCOs of the commands and units of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia briefed the ARM Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski on the realized and upcoming activities of the ARM NCO Corps.
General Velichkovski once again expressed the constant support for the development of the ARM NCO Corps, stressing that the NCO is an important link in the Army, and that chief and first NCOs are a personal example for all NCOs and professional soldiers in the ARM. At the same time, he stressed that the chief NCOs should be mentors for giving unselfish support to the development of NCOs.
The ARM Chief NCO, Chief Sergeant Sveto Cvetkovski, stressed the necessity for an unselfish commitment to leadership in order to raise the level of NCO training and maintain the level of combat readiness as required. He also provided guidelines for undertaking measures and activities for developing the NCO corps in the upcoming year.
Chief NCOs of the commands and units are one of the pillars on which the leadership and motivation of NCOs and soldiers are based upon in carrying out the mission of the units.
