From 13th January to 15th January, training on the topic ‘Procedures in military captivity’ was realized with the members of the 3rd mechanized infantry battalion (3rd mibt), part of the 1st mechanized infantry brigade.
The training was conducted in two parts – theoretical and practical, according to given topics: imprisonment and rights of the prisoners of war, methods of interrogating prisoners of war, passive resistance to the interrogation methods and simulation of procedures during war imprisonment.
The aim of the training is for the members of the 3rd mibt to become familiar with the organization, methodology, manner and form of conducting training on the topic – procedures in military captivity.
During the training all rules and obligations, which are predicted for the procedures with prisoners of war in accordance with the Geneva Convention for prisoners of war, were met.
