As a part of the bilateral cooperation with Montenegro, the Recruits Training Center and its second year recruits completed the winter training from 10-18 of February in Kolashin. This training is included in the recruits curriculum of their graduate studies. The trainers were professionals who conveyed the necessary skills, including professors from the Military Academy, PE professor MA Trajche Jankovski, professor MA Vlado Ivanovski and captain Gjoko Hristoski from the Center for Individual Training.
The training was conducted in two parts; the first part was handling skiing equipment and ski training; the second part was building winter shelters and introducing individual and team work in winter conditions.
All skills acquired by the recruits on this basic training are necessary for every modern and well trained officer of ARM especially when they do combat tasks in winter conditions.
On the 15th of February the recruits were visited by the Training Command and Doctrine Commander, colonel Ljupcho Kostovski; the Dean of the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski”, colonel Orce Popovski; Macedonian Ambassador in Montenegro, Mr. Alexandar Vasilevski and representatives of Montenegrin Armed Forces.
