Today 17.06.2014 in barracks “Ilinden” – Skopje ranger course officially ended.
From today ranger battalion is wealthier with members who successfully completed the Ranger Course.
The course lasted six months and included several stages. During the course different types of training were conducted in all time and weather conditions, theoretical and practical training was conducted which was followed by periodic testing. The training took place on the training areas in barracks “Ilinden” Army Training Facility “Krivolak” and through parts of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.
The ultimate goal of the Ranger course is to make a member of a Ranger Battalion who will be brave, wise, strong, durable, with a sense of belonging and loyalty to the unit, the army and the state.
With the completion of the Ranger course each candidate who successfully completed the course by the Commander of the Special Operations Regiment and Commander of Ranger Battalion received a green beret and a patch of the unit.
