The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski who is on an official visit to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Austria, today in Vienna had a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Austria, General Robert Brieger.
After the welcoming ceremony with high military honours, during the meeting between Generals Gjurchinovski and Brieger they discussed the bilateral military cooperation and the possibilities for improving the cooperation through military education, common training and exercises, as well as using the capacities of both armies.
As part of the visit, the army delegation led by General Gjurchinovski visited part of the Austrian military units located in Strass and during the day, they will visit the Joint Command of the Armed Forces in Graz where they will meet the Commander, Lieutenant General Franz Reissner and discuss the mutual cooperation.
The cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Austria until now was especially noticeable in the area of the military education and the common training of the special forces.
