The Chief of GS of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski had a protocol meeting with the newly appointed non-resident Defence Attaché of Germany, accredited to the Republic of North Macedonia, Lieutenant Colonel Dirk Weber and Lieutenant Colonel Hans-Peter Wamsler who carried out this duty in Tirana, Republic of Albania.
General Gjurchinovski congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Dirk Weber, wishing him success in carrying out this duty and continuation and deepening of the excellent cooperation between the two armies. He also expressed his gratitude for the support in the field of education of our personnel at the military educational institutions in Germany.
At today’s meeting, on the occasion of 18th August, The Day of the Army, Lieutenant Colonel Hans-Peter Wamsler was presented with a golden badge of the Army for partnership, coordination and cooperation.
During the stay at the General Staff, the defence Attachés had meetings with the Minister of Defence Radmila Shekerinska and the deputy Chief of GS Major General Azim Nuredini.
