Today, at the TA “Krivolak”, the Air Force WING (AFWING) conducted practical training activities with helicopter Mi-24 from AFWING, which are part of the scheduled training activities of the subordinate units within the Operations Command (OC).
The so called GRB (grenading, rocketing and bombarding) activity conducted with the helicopter Mi-24 includes strafing ground targets with a machinegun. With this activity, the pilot performs complex procedure which demonstrates their skill by neutralizing ground targets in all weather conditions.
The OC Commander Major-General Pavle Arsoski and the AFWING Commander Colonel Stojko Pejovski observed the activity in a helicopter Mi-24.
This kind of practical training is a regular scheduled activity in the pilot training. Having continuous pilot training within AFWING, the pilots train their capabilities to conduct the most complex tasks which are part of this unit’s mission.
