Lance Corporal Trajche Ilijevski, a member of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), competed in the Republic of North Macedonia national cross country running competition, held on 16th October. He took part in the individual and teams 10 kilometers cross country running, and won the third place in individual and the second place in the teams category.
The Army’s representative, Lance Corporal Trajche Ilijevski, who is also a member of the sports club “NRCNRC – Nike + Run Club Skopje”, has achieved high results and awards in competitions in country and abroad. On 16th September, this year, as a representative of the Republic of North Macedonia, he also competed in the BALKAN MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP 2021, which was held in Korca, Republic of Albania. He competed in the 5 000 meters M35 category and in a tough competition he arrived third at the finish line winning a bronze medal.
In the course of this year he has achieved some significant results in many categories and races. At the national competition in the 10 000 meters he placed fifth, on the International Military Sports Council Day, with a notable result of 16:20 seconds. He won the second place in the 5 000 meters army cross country running, in the 10 000 meters Kavadarci race he was first, and in the national 21 kilometers half-marathon he won the fifth place.
This August, in the Republic of Serbia, he was 13th out of 33 contestants defending the army colors of the national team in the regional mountain race, in which army representations of six CISM members took part. In the Balkan half-marathon championship in Bitola, lance corporal Ilijevski took part in the 10 kilometers category and won the third place. He will participate in a few more important competitions until the end of the year.
