On 17 September, a friendly football match between the teams representing the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the United Kingdom was held at the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) Stadium in Skopje. The home team secured victory thanks to the winning goal scored by Bekim Alimoski.
The match was organised in the spirit of the longstanding cooperation and partnership between the two countries, with the aim of fostering friendly relations, mutual trust and sports cooperation between the personnel of the Allied Armed Forces.
Following the game, Ilcho Mitreski was named Player of the Match in recognition of his outstanding contribution and performance.
Such sporting events represent an important aspect of military cooperation and contribute to strengthening team spirit, mutual respect and partnership between the Allied Armed Forces.
