The Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski and the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, visited the Operations Command (OC) today at the “Boro Menkov” barracks in Kumanovo.
During the visit, the Minister was informed about the activities of the OC, as well as the future development plans. Misajlovski said that he is proud of the members who are part of the Command and the units within it, adding that they are a true reflection of the professionalism of the Army and the commitment to the safety and security of citizens. “The Ministry will continue to work dedicatedly to support the development of the Army, especially in the process of modernization and equipping,” said the Minister at the joint meeting.
Together with General Lafchiski and Minister Misajlovski, the Operations Command was also visited by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredini, the Director of the General Staff, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, and the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini, who were welcomed by the Commander of the OC, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski.
Today’s visit to the Operations Command is the first visit by Minister Misajlovski, after the new Commander, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, was appointed to this command.
