In the barracks within the area of responsibility of the Operations Command, a formal ceremony was held today to mark August 18, the Army Day of the Republic of North Macedonia.
In his speech, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, Commander of the Operations Command, said, “This year, the Army personnel are celebrating the holiday with compact formation units, equipped and modernized with new, cutting – edge combat vehicles, systems, and weapons, which will undoubtedly serve as motivation for higher achievements and further successful affirmation of the Army, both domestically and internationally.”
During the ceremony, commanders and their deputies highlighted the importance of the Army of North Macedonia as a member of NATO, the world’s largest military alliance.
The event also featured the reading of congratulatory messages and orders for promotions within the units, as well as presentation of awards and commendations.
