Today, ceremonial events were held at the barracks within the area of responsibility of the Operations Command to mark August 18th, the Army Day of the Republic of North Macedonia.
In a special address, the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, stated, “This year, Army members are celebrating the holiday with cohesive formations, equipped and modernized with new, modern combat vehicles, systems, and weapons, which will undoubtedly be a motivation for achieving much higher results and for the continued successful promotion of the Army, both at home and abroad.”
At the various barracks under the Operations Command, commanders and their deputies emphasized the significance of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia as a member country of the world’s largest military alliance, the NATO Alliance.
During the ceremony for the Army Day on August 18th, congratulatory messages were read, and promotion orders, awards, and commendations were announced within the units.
