At the Medical Training Department within the Military Medical Centre -Skopje, on 17 and 18 November 2025, the employees of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands received Basic and Advanced Self-Aid and First Aid Training for Injuries and Emergency Medical Conditions.
Fourteen embassy employees participated in the training, including Ambassador Özlem Canel and her deputy, Manon Janssen. All fourteen employees took part in the basic training, where they acquired basic knowledge and skills in first aid and self-aid. The advanced training continued with four embassy staff members, who are designated as first-aid responders in case of accidents and emergencies. This part of the training was expanded with additional topics on managing various types of injuries and appropriate responses to emergency medical conditions.
At the closing ceremony, which is part of a decade long cooperation, the participants were awarded certificates and the importance of strengthening and further advancing the fruitful cooperation was emphasized.
