Today, at the Bergen-Hohne Training Area in Lower Saxony, Germany, an Army delegation led by the Director of the General Staff of the Army, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, visited exercise Steadfast Dart 26 on the Distinguished Visitors Day.
On the Distinguished Visitors Day, the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) demonstrated combat operations which they conducted in a complex and dynamic operational environment. Through successful execution of this exercise, it was confirmed that the Allied forces support NATO new defense plan, which focuses on strengthening capabilities for the rapid and effective protection of Alliance territory, while also demonstrating unity, interoperability, and cohesion among the Allies.
The Army delegation also visited the tactical and technical display organized as part of the exercise. In addition, they saw the innovation zone, where representatives of the defense industry presented modern technological innovations and modern military equipment with possible application in the armed forces.
Exercise Steadfast Dart 26 is NATO’s largest exercise in 2026. During this exercise, the Allied Reaction Force conducted their first major deployment in the area of responsibility of Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFC Brunssum). ARF demonstrated NATO’s ability to rapidly deploy and integrate forces to reinforce Allied capabilities located in Central Europe.
Regarding the exercise, the Commander of Joint Force Command Brunssum, General Ingco Gerharz, emphasized that the exercise confirms the ability of the Alliance to act swiftly, remain united, and respond decisively led by the Joint Force Command in Brunssum when it is most needed.
