On 28 March, 2026, 25 years have passed since the tragic death of Captain First Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, in that period Commander of the Military Police Battalion (MPBn).
On that occasion, on 27 March, in front of the MPBn Command at the “Ilinden” barracks, at the memorial built in his honor, fresh flowers were laid by the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, representatives of the Army General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, former MPBn commanders, commanders of units based in the Skopje garrison, and members of the family of the fallen Commander.
Addressing the members of the MPBn, the unit Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Toni Pavloski, reflected on the life and work of Captain First Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, highlighting his positive qualities such as perseverance and dedication to duty, as well as his commitment to fulfilling assigned goals and responsibilities in building the image and reputation of the Military Police Battalion and the Army.
