The newly acquired equipment for the Macedonian Army, procured through the EU/European Peace Facility, was presented in the “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje today, July 3, 2026 in the presence of the President of the Government, Hristijan Mickoski, the Minister of Defense, Vlado Misajlovski, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, and the EU Ambassador to our country, Michalis Rokas.
The newly acquired equipment, valued at approximately 40 million euros, includes reconnaissance and intelligence equipment, engineer equipment, engineer vehicles, logistic support equipment, as well as medical equipment and medical vehicles.
During the event, a tactical exercise was conducted to demonstrate operational capabilities and joint intelligence, which represents one of the most critical tasks in modern operations.
Today’s presentation was also attended by representatives of the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, ITF, and DCI.
