On the occasion of marking 82 years since the liberation of the cities of Delchevo and Pehchevo (7 and 8 September), as well as 35 years of Independence Day, personnel of the 2nd Infantry Battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade held a Tactical-Technical Display in the municipalities of Delchevo and Pehchevo.
The event was organized in the days dedicated to history, freedom, statehood, military tradition, and shared values providing an opportunity for direct Civil-Military Cooperation between the Army personnel and the citizens from this region.
Through the display and presentation of selected weapons, military-technical materiel, protective equipment and personal protective gear, citizens had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into their purpose, capabilities, and use by Army personnel when conducting tasks. The Tactical-Technical Display provided an opportunity for open dialogue with citizens, the exchange of experiences, and direct insight into the professional engagement of Army personnel. Such activities are particularly important for building and strengthening trust between the Army and citizens, as well as for bringing the military profession closer to young people and the wider public.
With their presence and professional attitude toward the citizens, the personnel of the 2nd Infantry Battalion once again confirmed the commitment of the Army to being people’s Army, professional and ready force, firmly embedded in society and always in the service of the citizens and the homeland.
