From 26 February to 2 March 2026, the 60th CISM World Military Cross-Country Championship 2026 was held in Trikala, Greece, within which the first Balkan ranking in this discipline was also conducted.
Army service personnel also participated in this prestigious international competition, competing in both men’s and women’s categories, demonstrating their physical readiness, sportsmanship and competitive spirit on the international stage.
Exceptionally significant achievement within the Balkan ranking was accomplished by the Army’s men’s team, which secured third place in the team standings in strong international competition. The achieved result confirms the continuous commitment to the development of sports and the physical readiness of the Army members.
