From 26.09. to 18.10.2015, ARM members participated in the largest NATO exercise, in the last two decades, “Trident Juncture 15“ (TJ – 15), which took place simultaneously in Saragosa – Spain, Beja – Portugal and Poggio Renatico – Italy.
ARM members were assigned to different HQ locations and took part in the following exercise activities: Electronic Warfare, Handling Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), Public Relations, Force Protection and Logistic Support. The service personnel of ARM demonstrated a high level of professionalism in executing their tasks.
The aim of the ТЈ-15 exercise is to train and test NATO Joint Force Command – JFC Brunssum and its capabilities in defending the NATO Alliance member countries with its available capacities (land forces, air forces, maritime forces and Special Forces). ТЈ-15 was certified with the end of the Command Post Exercise.
The second part of the exercise which will be conducted from 20th October to 06th November will include more than 230 units, 140 aircrafts and more than 60 ships as well as more than 36 000 servicemen from 30 nations. The exercise will also include participation of more than 12 international organisations (NGOs and government organisations) which will actively take part, including European Union, OSCE, MKRC and the African Union.
By conducting their appointed tasks at the allocated HQs, the ARM servicemen will upgrade their professional knowledge related to their workplace and it is an excellent opportunity to promote the interoperability of staff regulations and procedures in an international environment.
