In the period between 19.05 to 21.05.2014, at the Army Training Area (ATA) “Krivolak” members of the Engineer Battalion (EB) from 1th Mechanized Infantry Brigade conducted an exercise with live explosives (LE) “Demolition of elements and materials”.
Engineers Battalion conducted the stationed camping in the summer camp “Arrow 1” at the ATA Krivolak during which the following topics have been covered:
- Demolition of land and elements from reinforced concrete
- Demolition of elements from wood
- Demolition of steel elements and materials
On 21.05.2014 exercise 3 “Demolition of elements and materials” was conducted under a direct supervision of Commander of Engineers Battalion, who participated in the preparation and realization of the exercise.
After the exercises had been completed an analyses was made with the outcome that the initial aim (training soldiers for proper and safe conduct in manual operations and standards when destroying materials / elements) has been fully achieved and combat readiness of the unit has been increased.
