On the occasion of 8 March – International Women’s Day, female Army personnel celebrated this important holiday in a dignified and soldierly manner.
Female personnel of the Army General Staff marked this significant day with a recreational and conditioning march in the vicinity of village of Lesnovo, near Probishtip, demonstrating strong military spirit.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, in all Army commands and units recognition was symbolically given to the female members of the Army for their role in carrying out their daily duties.
As part of the celebration of this holiday, the Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski congratulated the female Army personnel, emphasizing the role of the women in the military, who over the years have shown that courage has no gender, and leadership has no boundaries.
“8 March is not only a day for congratulations. It is a reminder that equality, mutual respect, and opportunities must constantly be promoted. You are a proof that modern Army is strong precisely because it is diverse,” stated General Lafchiski in his message to the female personnel of the Army.
