Today, 29 December 2025, at the General Staff of the Army, the Gender Equality Officer conducted training for part of the employees on the topic “Prevention and Suppression of Workplace Harassment.”
Within the framework of the training, the legal protection mechanisms were presented, as well as the roles and responsibilities of each employee in preventing occurrences of harassment. It was emphasized that every employee has the obligation to respect work order and discipline, adhere to the principles of proper and decent conduct, and actively contribute to creating a working environment based on teamwork, cooperation, and mutual respect, free from any form of harassment.
Today’s training was organized with the aim of improving awareness and strengthening understanding of the importance of respecting dignity, integrity, and mutual respect in the workplace. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law on Protection against Workplace Harassment, the Ministry of Defense and the Army have a legal obligation to ensure that all employees and job candidates are mandatorily informed about the provisions of the Guidelines and the Law on Protection against Workplace Harassment, as well as about the measures, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee in this area.
