The completion of the training in providing personal security conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior was marked with an appropriate ceremony in the presence of the Director of the General Staff, Brigadier General Simeon Trajkovski, at the Ilinden barracks.
General Trajkovski awarded certificates to the Army personnel from different units for successful course completion of training to provide this service.
The activity that started on 11 September 2023 was carried out in four groups, training hundreds of Army members from different units.
Training on actions and procedures to provide personal security was conducted under the mentorship of instructors from the Ministry of Interior. It included theoretical knowledge of legislative in this area, making teams for protective formations, escort security and traffic security of public officials, etc.
Before awarding the certificates a competence test and activity evaluation of the joint training was conducted.
The activity was organsied based on the previous coordination with the Ministry of Interior to support our capacities in the preparation, organization and implementation of the obligations related to the OSCE Ministerial Council, which will be held in the Republic of North Macedonia in the period from 30 November – 1 December 2023.
With this activity, once again, we confirm the professional readiness and capability of our army personnel to act in accordance with the Army mission and tasks to support the government institutions.
