Continual training of Army personnel, which is involved in the training cycle for implementing NATO standardization, in accordance with the bilateral cooperation with Hellenic Armed Forces, carried on in 2024.
The 1st and 3rd Module of the training cycle on NATO standardization and the NATO defence planning process were conducted from 25th to 29th March, 2024 at the Army House Skopje. Part of the training was conducted through Video Teleconferencing (VTC).
A NATO mobile team from Greece provided the training. Representatives from J-5 General Staff and TRADOC participated in the training by giving presentations.
Members of the Army and the Ministry of Defence, from various sectors and fields, who are involved in the standardization process, underwent the training.
Two representatives from Monte Negro also attended the training.
During the training, the attendees acquired knowledge on NATO standardization as well as on NATO defence planning process.
The standardization training is supported by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.
On completing the training, in the presence of Brigadier General Simeon Trajkovski, the Director of the Army GS, the attendees received certificates of attendance and successfully completed training.
It is planned to finalize the training on NATO standardization by conducting another module, Module 2 in the course of 2024.
