The Army General Staff and the Training and Doctrine Command, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the USA Office of Defense Cooperation, engaging a team of regional instructors for psychological operations, carried out an Instructor Validation Course in the field of psychological operations on a tactical level.
During the course, which was held at the Skopje Army House from 26 to 29 February, 2024, US instructors validated Army instructors for tactical psychological operations.
By covering a wide range of topics, such as introduction to psychological operations, the process of planning psychological operations, analysis of target group and tactics, techniques and procedures to counter enemy psychological operations, and by sharing experiences by the US Instructors team, our instructors’ readiness to convey knowledge in this field, on a tactical level, was evaluated.
Army Instructors, who are already certified, successfully completed this process and in the forthcoming period will continue training future specialists in the field of psychological operations, for the needs of the team, from the Light Infantry Battalion Group.
After becoming a full-fledged NATO member and in order to fulfill NATO’s capability objectives the Army of the Republic of Nоrth Macedonia actively works on building capacities in this field envisaged for the declared units.
