A delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Army of the Republic of Macedonia paid tribute to the 8 soldiers killed at the locality Ljubotenski Bachila, by laying wreaths of fresh flowers at the memorial in village Ljubanci.
On the occasion of marking the seventeenth anniversary since their death the soldiers were honored at the memorial in Ilinden barracks.
Today also wreaths of flowers were laid at the memorial in village Volkovo.
On August 10th 2001, ARM military vehicle hit two antitank mines on the road near the locality Ljubotenski Bachila and 8 members of ARM reserved forces from garrison Skopje were killed.
