An annual conference on training in the ARM is being held today and tomorrow in the Army House in Skopje, in organization by the ARM General Staff. The conference was opened by the Chief of J-7 in the General Staff, Colonel Zoran Dodevski, who pointed out the importance of the conference as an exceptional opportunity to coordinate the exercise activities of the Army for the next year, but also to express the needs and concerns for successful implementation of the training and exercises.
Today (19.11.2014), the conference was attended by the representatives of the General Staff organizational units, the heads of the sections responsible for training and exercises (J / G / A / S-7) from the subordinate commands and units on a battalion level and sergeant majors of the first subordinate commands and units of the ARM General Staff.
Today, the operational requirements of the program 4 – Programming (presentation of projects – activities) by the first subordinate commands and units were reviewed as well as their suggestions for activities in 2015. On the second day, the conference will focus on the demands by external participants, and the coordination in supporting the use of the training and exercise facilities in the Army in 2015.
Tomorrow, the conference will be attended by participants from the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, Protection and Rescue Directorate, the Crisis Management Centre and the Macedonian Reserve Officers organization.
The Conference on training in the Army is held twice a year. The conference on planning and programming training activities is carried out in March, and the conference on budgeting training activities for the next year is held in November.
