The Chief of GS of ARM, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski met the newly appointed Defense Attaché of Bulgaria accredited to the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant Colonel Plamen Nikolov.
Lieutenant General Velichkovski congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Nikolov for his appointment as Defense Attaché. During the meeting, they discussed about the possibilities for intensification of the cooperation between the two countries in the area of personnel training within the capacities of the armies of the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria, exchange of experience, mutual exercises and military education.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that good cooperation in the area of defense is exceptionally important for both countries and that it would contribute to strengthening the regional security and international peace and stability.
