As of today, a delegation of the National Guard (NG) of Vermont – United States is on a three-day official visit to the Macedonian Army. The delegation is headed by the Vermont National Guard Command Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Toby Quick, whose host is the ARM Command Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Dragan Stojanovski.
The delegation today was received by the ARM Deputy Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Naser Sejdini. At the meeting, it was emphasized that the excellent cooperation between the Vermont National Guard and the ARM is a strong impulse in achieving the NATO standards as well as in the development of the NCO corps of the Macedonian Army.
Today Sergeant Major Toby Quick delivered a lecture to the cadets in the fourth year of the Military Academy “Mihailo Apostolski” on “The role of the sergeant major and the relations between the sergeant major and the commander.”
During the visit, the delegation of the Vermont National Guard will visit several units of ARM, where they will be acquainted with the structure and role of the NCO corps in ARM, exchange of views, suggestions and proposals for improving the work of NCOs in the ARM is expected.
