Chief of GS of the ARM, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, and the newly appointed Chief of the NATO Liaison Office in Republic of Macedonia, Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, had a meeting where issues of mutual interest were discussed.
During the talks, the Chief of the NATO Liaison Office got familiarized with the ARM activities in the process of transformation and the upcoming changes in the logistic concept, understanding the need for advisory and professional help by the Office.
Both speakers agreed with the importance of continuing the present close cooperation on a professional level, aiming towards contributing to the process of integration within the North-Atlantic structures, as one of the main functions of the Office.
Previously, Bartol had visited the Joint Operations Command as part of his agenda to visit the rest of the ARM units in order to gain direct insight into their activities, which proofs the readiness for further mutual cooperation.
