Chief of General staff of ARM Lieutenant General Metodija Vleichkovski had a meeting with Brigadier General Salvatore Carta, the management director of NATO Defense College in Rome, who led a group of students on a study visit of the Republic of Macedonia.
The meeting in general, among other things, discussed the cooperation between the Macedonian Army and the NATO Defense College in the field of education and military education, stressing the role of the highest educational institution of NATO schooling senior officer staff for the Ministry of Macedonian defense and ARM.
The study visit to Macedonia and ARM by visitors of the NATO College is the second achieved so far within the study program of visits of this high education military institution.
The study group led by Brigadier General Salvatore Carta had the opportunity through presentations in the meeting room at the Museum of the revolutionary fight to be informed about the mission, structure and tasks of ARM and its participation in exercises and international activities abroad.
As part of the cooperation in the field of education so far a big number of high ranking officers from MoD and ARM have graduated this higher education NATO institution. After graduating the officers had been assigned to senior positions in the structure of the MoD and ARM.
