From 02 th to 12th October a team of ARM representatives is participating in “The Sixth Military World Games” in South Korea, organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM). At this most prestigious and largest sport event, where all armies’ members of CISM participate, ARM representatives will compete in the following disciplines: wrestling-freestyle, running 800, 1500, 5000 and 10,000 meters and 42 km. marathon.
The sixth Military World Games are held in the city Mungyeong, South Korea under the motto “Friendship through sport”. ARM representatives will compete with representatives from the armies of 110 countries, around 8700 soldiers.
Since 2005 ARM is a full member of the CISM, and has gained the right to participate in all international sports competitions organized by the International Military Sports Council.
