In coordination with the Office for Defense Cooperation (ODC), and in accordance with the indicated need and understanding of the process of receiving, storing and handing over the Light Armoured Vehicles (JLTV) as well as the other equipment related to them, working meeting with the US Defense Attaché to the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Daniel Squires, a representative from the Office of Defense Cooperation, Lieutenant Colonel Sean Ruffolo and Mr. Darko Knezhevikj was held in the Command of the Logistics Base (LB).
The role and responsibility of LB personnel in the process of receiving, storing and handing over light armored vehicles, equipment and spare parts, as well as the challenges faced by the LB were discussed at the working meeting.
The possibilities and capacities of LB for storage, maintaining, measures and activities that are undertaken in the further process of handing over the received donation were also presented.
In the course of the meeting with the US representatives, the reception of the vehicles and equipment that is expected to arrive during the months of December 2024 and January 2025 was discussed.
At the end of the working meeting, our proposals for a more efficient and effective processing of the necessary documentation of the received vehicles, spare parts and equipment and their delivery to the end users were expressed.
