In the period from 18 September to 13 October 2023 at the “Penush” Training Ground, personnel from subordinate units of the Operations Command (OC) successfully completed a course for young leaders with instructors from the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom (UK).
During the training, topics from tactical training at the section level (attack, defence, patrolling, marching, reconnaissance patrol etc.), medical training, topography and techniques of moving with a team were conducted, as well as preparatory shootings with the personnel’s personal weapons. During the training, the staff showed dedication, endurance and maximum commitment.
The end of the training was attended by the Head of the Тraining and Еxercise section in the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde), Lieutenant Colonel Jonche Lazarevski, the Commander of the 2nd Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Sumrachki and the Command Master Sergeants of the 1st InfBde units.
The participants were awarded certificates for the successful completion of the course, which will be the basis for further advancement in the career of young leaders.
