In the period from 20.04 to 24.04.2015 in the barracks “Jane Sandanski” – Shtip and “Kuzman Josifovski – Pitu” in Tetovo members of the 2nd and 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (2nd mib and 3rd mib) conducted a training on the topic of Fighting in an urban environment.
The training began with a theoretical general provisions to proceed with its practical part in the barracks training areas. The following topics were presented: formation, movement techniques and carrying weapons in an urban environment, shelter, fire positions and movement under fire in an urban environment, patrolling, contact and reaction to contact, entering a facility and cleaning rooms, movement in settlement. In addition, techniques dealing with obstacles such as window, door, angle, intersection and techniques to enter a room were also carried out.
The topics aroused great interest among the members involved in the training. They were very dedicated which resulted in the adoption of new knowledge and skills.
