In the period from 10th to 13th November, in “Illinden” barracks members of the Military Police Battalion (MPBT) had training on “Securing High Ranking Military Officials” (HRO).
The training is part of the bilateral cooperation between the US armed forces and the Army of Republic of Macedonia and was conducted by a team of instructors from Vermont National Guard, led by Brigadier General Michael Heston.
In these several days officers and NCO’s from MPBN with joint effort learnt and practiced organization and planning tactics, techniques and procedures applied when securing High Ranking Military Officials.
The theoretical and practical training was conducted on the training areas in “Ilinden” barracks and it was an excellent opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work in the field.
At the end, the commander of MPBN Lieutenant Colonel Vasko Kokolanski thanked the instructors for the successful training, stressing the need for the continuation and improvement of the excellent cooperation with the US armed forces within the military contact program.
Besides MPBN members, Special Operations Regiment members participated in the training.
