In the period from 17.03 to 21.03.2014, at the garrison in Tetovo, sniper training of the soldiers who are placed in a formation was realized. It was conducted by instructors from the composition of the Special Operations Regiment (SOR).
The training started with a presentation of an educational film about the historical importance of the sniper in combat, and it continued on the training range at the barracks “Kuzman Josifovski-Pitu”. The following topics were realized: purpose, combat features, the distinguishing tactical and technical characteristics of the sniper rifle, masking, target selection and detection, observation and sketching.
The topics generated great interest among the participants in the course and they engaged themselves to the maximum in the training which resulted in the adoption of new skills and knowledge as well as validation and upgrading of what has been previously acquired.
The training was rounded off with the realization of a shooting exercise at the garrison shooting range “Erebino” in Tetovo.
