Today in the barracks “Strasho Pindzur” in Petrovec was marked the Day of the Unit, in conditions when the members of the 1st Infantry Brigade are engaged in tasks to support the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in dealing with the corona virus pandemic.
In addition to the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurcinovski, the ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Operations Command, Major General Pavle Arsoski.
In their address, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurcinovski and the Commander of the Operations Command, Major General Pavle Arsoski, emphasized the historic moment the state is in, dealing with the pandemic and the need to build unity and cohesion in dealing with this public health threat.
The Commander of the Brigade, Colonel Besnik Emini, said in his speech that this was a day to remember the sacrifices of the brigade’s previous members, who contributed to the achievement and whose traditions are followed in the brigade.
At the ceremony, on the occasion of the day of the unit, several incentive measures were awarded to the members of the Brigade.
