At the “Novo Selo” base in the Republic of Bulgaria, which hosts the sixth rotation of the Macedonian contingent that is part of the NATO Multinational Battle Group in the “FLF” (Forward Land Forces) mission, a ceremony was held on the occasion of August 18 – the Army Day.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the NATO Multinational Battle Group in the “FLF” mission in the Republic of Bulgaria, Colonel Mattia Shiroko, as well as officers from the Multinational Battle Group headquarters.
The ceremony began with the intonation of the Macedonian national anthem and the national anthem of the Army. Then, a solemn speech was given by the oldest national representative, Major Gjorgje Nikolov, as well as the Commander of the NATO Multinational Battle Group in the “FLF” mission in the Republic of Bulgaria, Colonel Mattia Shiroko.
