Today, at barracks “NH Strasho Pingjur” in Petrovec, there was a military ceremony, organised in accordance with COVID-19 virus safety measures and preventions, marking 15th October-the day of the Battalion for Air Surveillance and Reporting (ASRBn), a unit within the Air Brigade (ABde).
The ceremony was attended by: ABde Commander, Colonel Stojko Pejovski, the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Colonel Besnik Emini, section chefs of the Abde and other guests.
The ABde commander in his speech highlighted the importance of the ASRBn as well as the establishing of the Command and Control Centre of the operations airspace, where NATO conducts the coordination of the Air Policing mission and he also stressed the dedication of the members of the battalion while performing their tasks and duties.
The ASRBn Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver Stojanovski in his speech said that the personnel of previous generations of ASRBn had invested their personal and professional engagement in the establishment and development of the air surveillance.
At the ceremony, congratulation notes by the Chief of the General Staff and the OC Commander were read, and stimulative measures were awarded.
